Today we are going to talk about the best exercise for weight loss. You don’t want to be doing what they call “working in the fat burning zone” because it is a load of nonsense. For example standing on a treadmill going 1 mile an hour or peddling along on a bike just steady won’t get you anywhere.
It tells you that you are in the fat burning zone on all these machines but that is not the way to go.
You want to be looking at something called high intensity interval training or HIIT for short. Doing six weeks of this would be the same as doing 18 weeks of steady state cardio training so which one would you rather do? Six weeks to get to your goal or 18 weeks. It makes sense to take the fast route for a much quicker result.
A little example, maybe for gym goers. If you go to a gym and use a treadmill, you might want to do one minute flat out at 100% and then 2 minutes little recovery and then you repeat that 3 times. That will be a 15 minute high intensity good fat burning weight loss workout but then again it might be a bit boring just doing it on a treadmill but that is one way you can do it. There are plenty of other ways you can do it. You can incorporate weights, which I can show on another video. This is the sort of thing that we do here at Paragon. This sort of workout is not for your book readers! Over the years I have seen many people in gyms sitting on a bike reading a book or newspaper. You are not going to get anywhere doing that. For people who want serious results, get in there, get it done, get out and you go on burning fat for up to 72 hours after you have left the gym, not just when you get off the treadmill.
